I am a small hobby breeder, specialising in the rare and difficult to obtain Icelandic Chicken. I share the vision of the people of Iceland who have been working since the 1970's to save these birds from extinction. I believe in maintaining the genetic diversity of these wonderful and unique landrace fowl by the elimination of crossbreeding and standardization. My goal is to help preserve and promote the Icelandic Chicken in Canada and increase awareness of the fragility of this rare species and the importance of protecting, preserving and appreciating their contribution to our planet.
I'm passionate about my flock and rear all birds with the utmost care. All birds are healthy/happy stock, free range, regularly wormed and fed on a well balanced diet.
